Achievements
This form is used to track the progress of members through their Badges and Awards. By default only badges for the person’s Section are shown. But Clicking on All Badges allows the user to select badges from any Section. Use Show Completed to see Badges that have been completed and are hidden. Selecting Find opens a quick lookup form to find any particular Person and Badge entry. When making a new entry the Member must be selected first, followed by the Badge Name and the Date work started, after which the Requirements for the selected Badge will be displayed. As each Requirement is passed, clicking in the 'Done' box sets it to Yes and makes the Notes Pencil available. This can be used to record additional information about the badges such as the date the Requirement was completed and the Examiner's name for instance. When All Requirements for a Badge are completed a message box will be displayed to inform the User (unless the requirements passed are ambiguous). When the award has been presented the presentation date should be entered to ensure the correct details are shown on the person's Record Card. The Delete button deletes this Person and Badge combination and can't be recovered so be careful. Print shows a report that can be printed out to give to the person so that they can see what they have to do or to get an external examiner to sign off a Requirement. An additional button markedOptions is displayed next to Print when the Badge has associated Training Options. The In Stock box shows how many Badges are held, to ensure that there isn't too long between completing a Badge and getting it presented. |
